Dr. Nancy Adamopoulos, MD, received
her undergraduate degree from Johns Hopkins University. She received
a Masters degree in Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine from
University of Maryland School of Medicine, and received her Doctor
of Medicine (M.D.) degree at Eastern Virginia Medical School.
She completed residency training at Christiana Care (formerly
Medical Center of Delaware). Dr. Adamopoulos is board certified
in Internal Medicine and joined CMG in 2004. She is currently
a member of the Society of Hospital Medicine and the American
College of Physicians. Dr. Adamopoulos is on the staff at Christiana
Hospital, Wilmington Hospital and St. Francis Hospital.

Dr. David Amato, DO, completed his undergraduate training at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and his medical training at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania. He completed a traditional rotating osteopathic internship at Crozer-Keystone Health System, and his residency training at Christiana Care Health System. He is board certified in Internal Medicine. Dr. Amato joined CMG in 2002. He is an active member of SHM, ACP-ASIM and is on staff at Christiana Care Health System, including, Christiana and Wilmington Hospitals as well as St. Francis Hospital. He is also on staff with Bayhealth Medical Center at Kent General Hospital and Milford Memorial Hospital.

Dr. Kunal Bhagat earned his Bachelor
of Arts in Biochemistry, at the University of Pennsylvania. He
then went on to earn his Medical Degree back home at the University
of Kansas. He completed his residency training at the Medical
Center of Delaware (now Christiana Care Health Systems). He then
joined a primary care practice in the Wilmington/Newark area for
several years, before joining CMG in 2003. Dr. Bhagat is board
certified in Internal Medicine. He participates in the training
of residents in Christiana Care’s Internal Medicine Residency
Program, and includes aspects of primary care while attending
to the care of his hospitalized patients. Dr. Bhagat is on staff
at Christiana, Wilmington, and St. Francis Hospitals.
He is a member of SHM, AMA, and ACP/ABIM.

Dr. Joanne Brice, MD, FHM, completed a
Bachelor of Science in Microbiology at the University of California,
Davis, then went on to receive her medical degree at the University
of California, Davis School of Medicine, where her interest was
medical care to the underserved. She completed residency training
in Internal Medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Brice is a board certified Internist who joined Christiana
Medical Group in 2001, and currently serves as its Managing Physician.
She is a member of the Society of Hospital Medicine, American
College of Physicians, and Alpha Omega Alpha. She is an active
member of the Medical-Dental staff at Christiana Hospital, Wilmington
Hospital and St. Francis Hospital. She divides her time between service
on multiple hospital committees and her first love, which is seeing
in-patients at these facilities.

Dr. Soon Mee Chung, MD, received her undergraduate degree and Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Yonsei University School of Medicine. She completed a four-year Emergency Medicine residency at Yonsei University Severance Hospital, then worked as an ER attending physician for 6 years. She went back and successfully completed another three-years of Internal Medicine residency training at Union Memorial Hospital located in Baltimore, Maryland which is affiliated with University of Maryland Health Systems. Dr. Chung is board certified in Internal Medicine, and joined CMG in 2009. She is currently a member of the Society of Hospital Medicine and the American College of Physicians. She is on the staff at Christiana Hospital, Wilmington Hospital and St. Francis Hospital.

Dr. Patricia Clancy, MD, was born and raised in Pennsylvania. She completed her undergraduate degree in nursing at St. Francis University in Joliet, IL. She attended MCP-Hahnemann School of Medicine and completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia. Dr. Clancy is board certified in Internal Medicine and is a member of the Society of Hospital Medicine. Prior to joining CMG she worked as a hospitalist in Pennsylvania and worked for 5 years with the underserved Inuit people in Kotzebue, Alaska. She expects that working with CMG will be a rewarding experience and afford her the opportunity to spend more time with her 5 grandchildren (and 2 on the way).

Dr. Rodney Donham, DO, is board certified
in Internal Medicine and a charter member of the Society of Hospital
Medicine (formerly National Association of Inpatient Physicians).
He has been with CMG since 1997. Licensed in Delaware and Maryland,
he received his medical degree at the University of Health Sciences
in Kansas City, MO, completed an internship at Community Hospital
of Chester, PA, and internal medicine residency at the Medical
Center of Delaware in Newark. He is also a member of the American
Medical Directors Association and serves as medical director at
Calvert Manor Healthcare Center in Rising Sun, Maryland.

Dr. Ashwani Garg, MD, went to medical school at Government Medical College, Patiala, India. He then worked in India for 3 years in Internal Medicine. He would later relocate to the United Kingdom where he continued to work in Internal Medicine sub-specialties. Shortly after, he came to the United States for further training and completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at York Hospital, York, Pennsylvania. He is currently a member of American College of Physicians.

Dr. Tamar Jackson, MD, received her medical education at The George Washington School of Medicine and Health Sciences. Residency: Internal Medicine, Christiana Care Health Systems. Her professional affiliations include ACP, SHM, and NMA. Dr. Jackson joined CMG in July of 2009 and practices at Christiana Hospital. She enjoys movies, watching football and basketball, downloading an eclectic music collection, as well as playing the piano and a little base guitar.

Dr. Brijendra Kumar, MD, was born
and raised in New Jersey. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Johns
Hopkins University in 1994. He earned his medical degree at Robert
Wood Johnson University in 1998, at which time he was inducted
into the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society. Dr.
Kumar completed his Internal Medicine residency in 2001 at Thomas
Jefferson University Hospital. He is a member of the American
College of Physicians, American Society of Internal Medicine and
the Society of Hospital Medicine. He practices as a member of
the medical staff at the Christiana and Wilmington divisions of
the Christiana Care Health Systems, St. Francis Hospital, and
Select Specialty Hospital.

Dr. Nana Kutateladze, MD, earned a
medical degree from Tbilisi State Medical University in Republic
of Georgia. Prior to coming to the United States, Dr. Kutateladze
was an attending physician for eight years at Tbilisi State Medical
University. She moved to the United States and completed a residency
in Internal Medicine at Christiana Care Health System. She is
privileged to practice Internal Medicine at all of the institutions
of Christiana Care Hospital and at St. Francis Hospital. She has been a hospitalist with CMG
since 2007.

Dr. Wei Ping Li, MD, completed her pre-med training at Shandong University School of Life Science, and her medical training at Shandong University School of Medicine. She received a medical degree and a master degree of science, both at Shandong University. She did her medical residency in Internal Medicine at New York Downtown Hospital. Prior to that, she participated in medical research at University of Pennsylvania for two years. Dr. Li is currently a board eligible physician in Internal Medicine, and joined Christiana Medical Group in 2009. She is a member of the Society of Hospital Medicine, the American College of Physicians and the Association of Chinese American Physicians. She is on the staff at Christiana Hospital, Wilmington Hospital.

Dr. Qing Liu, MD, received her undergraduate
degree from Shanghai Medical University. She received her Doctor
of Medicine (M.D.) degree at Shanghai Medical School. She did
a one-year transitional internship at Frankford Hospital and completed

Care Health System. Dr. Liu is board certified in Internal Medicine,
and joined CMG in 2005. She is currently a member of the Society
of Hospital Medicine and the American College of Physicians. She

Dr. Michael Longo, MD, is board certified
in Internal Medicine and is a Delaware native. He earned a B.S.
in Biochemistry at Duquesne University, and went on to earn a
medical degree from Jefferson Medical College at Thomas Jefferson
University in Philadelphia. He completed both a residency in Internal
Medicine and a Fellowship in Geriatric Medicine at Temple University
in Philadelphia. He holds memberships in the American College
of Physicians and the Society of Hospital Medicine. He is honored
to have been chosen as “Physician Ambassador” by the
nursing staff of Christiana Care Hospital on several occasions.
He holds special interests in the care of the elderly, in improving
physician-patient and physician-nurse relations, and in the education
and training of new physicians. He is privileged to practice Internal
Medicine at all of the institutions of Christiana Care Hospital
and St. Francis Hospital.
He has been a hospitalist with CMG since 2001.

Dr. Sandra Nnebe, MD, graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. She went on to complete a year of research at Washington University in St. Louis before entering residency at Case Western Reserve University- Metrohealth Medical Center. She is board certified in Internal Medicine. Prior to joining CMG in 2009, she practiced traditional medicine in State College, PA. She is on staff at Christiana, Wilmington and St. Francis Hospitals.

Dr. Kenneth Nukuna, MD, graduated
from the College of Medicine, University of Lagos, Nigeria in
1991. He completed a medical internship in Base Hospital, Yaba,
Lagos, Nigeria in 1992. He later did his medical residency in
Internal Medicine at St. Vincent Charity Hospital in Cleveland,
Ohio. He has been working with the Christiana Medical Group since
2004, when he moved to Delaware. He is board certified in Internal
Medicine. Dr. Nukuna sees patients at Christiana Hospital, Wilmington
Hospital and St. Francis Hospital.

Dr. Mikelle Phillips, MD, earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at the University of South Florida, where she was a member of the Honors College. She went on to earn her medical degree at Howard University in Washington, D.C. She completed both her internship and residency training at the Medical Center of Delaware, now Christiana Care Health System. Following residency, she worked for the National Health Service Corps, serving as Medical Director of So Other's Might Eat Medical Clinic, a facility providing comprehensive health care and social services for the homeless in the District of Columbia. Dr. Phillips returned to Delaware in 2003 and joined the faculty of the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Christiana Care. She has been with CMG since 2008. Dr. Phillips is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and holds memberships in the American College of Physicians and the Society of Hospital Medicine. She is priveleged to be on staff at Christiana Care, St. Francis Hospital and Select Specialty Hospital.

Dr. Declan Quigley, MD, graduated
from the University College of Dublin Medical School in 1991,
and completed 3 years training in Ireland, before moving to the
United States in 1994 to complete his residency at the Medical
Center of Delaware in 1997. After spending 2 years in practice
in North Carolina, he returned to Delaware, where he joined CMG
in 1999. He is a member of SHM, ACP, and is registered with the
Irish Medical Council. His is on staff at Christiana Care Health
System and St. Francis Hospital.

Dr. James Ruether, MD, FACP, has practiced
in the community for eleven years: first in primary care, then
with Christiana Medical Group since 2001. He was board certified
in Internal Medicine in 1996 and recertified in 2006. He completed
residency training in Internal Medicine here at Christiana Care
Health System. He received
his medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine at the University
of Toronto in 1993. Prior to that, he was employed by the Du Pont
Company in molecular biology & virology, having received M.S.
and B.A. degrees in such from Cornell University and the University
of Colorado, respectively. Dr. Ruether has lived in Delaware since
1985, and is married with one child.

Karen Smith, NP, received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Maryland in 1978. She earned her Masters degree in Adult Medicine from the University of Pennsylanvia in 1994. She has worked as a NP in primary care with the underserved in Philadelphia and Delaware for 14 yrs. She joined CMB in February 2009. Karen is a member of the Delaware Nurses Association.

Kemal Erkan, Executive Director, attended the Ankara University where he obtained his first B.S. in Business Administration. Traveling to the U.S. Erkan subsequently obtained a B.S. in Computer Information and then a M.B.A. in Information Technologies and a M.B.A. in Finance Management at Goldey-Beacom College in Delaware. Erkan continues to be an active at Goldey-Beacom and as an alumnus serves as a member of the Career Services Advisory Board. His desire to elevate the quality of healthcare is focused on the state of Delaware. He is committed to working closely with Cerner© improving EMR education and implementation as well as volunteering his time and knowledge to government special interest groups. Highly energetic, Erkan infuses progressive and creative views to promote business development and opportunities, channeling information technology to improve healthcare.

Kathryn Hrycak, LPN, is a Licensed
Practical Nurse. She received her education at Delaware Technical
and Community College. She has a varied background in hospital
and office nursing and has been with Christiana Medical Group
since 1999. As a discharge nurse, she serves as a liaison between
CMG patients, family members, hospital case managers, social workers,
and home care agencies in the assessment, care options, available
resources, and coordination of the patients’ discharge care
needs and transition planning.
